United States Navy F/A-18E/F Super Hornet

Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18E/F Super Hornet

The current Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet is the current main fleet defense fighter for the United States Navy(USN) as well as the main fighter aircraft for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and considered as one of the best multirole fighter in the current era, and in a few years time, the stealthy F-35 Lightning II will complement the Super Hornet in both the USN and RAAF service, but however delays and the uncertainty regarding the F-35 development could leave a gap in the capability of the USN and RAAF.

A Boeing's leased US Navy's Super Hornet for the Advanced Super Hornet project

To fill the missing capabilities that caused by the delay of the F-35 Lightning II, Boeing has recently undergoing a privately funded venture, under the name "Advanced Super Hornet". The project will produce a 'stealthified' and more superior Super Hornet, which the Advanced Super Hornet will be more stealthy with new stealthy coating on all of it surfaces, enclosed weapon under the fuselage, and the use of Conformal Fuel Tanks for extra fuel capacity. and if the outcome was successful, the Advanced Super Hornet will rivaling Lockheed Martin's F-35 Lightning II.

Possible service in the Royal Malaysian Air Force?

I would like to said that there is a possibility that this combat aircraft will enter combat service with the RMAF, as for now, the RMAF currently operates eight(8) of the predecessor of Super Hornet, the F/A-18D 'Legacy' Hornet, which already proves it combat effectiveness last March, as the F/A-18D 'Legacy' Hornet successfully delivering airstrikes and destroyed the Sulu Terrorist holdout positions during the opening stages of the 'Operation Daulat', the Malaysian Armed Forces codename of the military offensive against the Sulu Terrorist.

Royal Malaysian Air Force F/A-18D Hornet

Keep in mind that Boeing is currently pursuing to securing the ongoing Multirole Combat Aircraft(MRCA) tender for the RMAF to replace the remaining MIG-29N 'Fulcrum'.
As I already mentioned above, the Super Hornet are one of the favorite contender of the current MRCA program, the others are Eurofighter Typhoon, and Dassault's Rafale.

The recent edition of the UEFA Champions League 2012-2013 has come to a dramatic end which my favorite team FC Bayern Munchen won 2-1 by beating fellow Bundesliga rival BV Borussia Dortmund. But the funny thing is that almost everybody think that the recent final was Dortmund's first ever appearance in UEFA Champions League final, but in reality, Dortmund already won a UEFA Champions League title back in 1997 by beating the star-studded Juventus 3-1.

This makes me wonder that the mentality of 'only top teams from England, Spain and Italy could win the UEFA Champions League, and others, impossible to win' is still stucked in the minds of casual football fans. In fact many almost impossible teams already won at least one UEFA Champions League title.

And I will present to you all teams that seems to be 'impossible to win' that already won UEFA Champions League/European Cup.

1991 European Champions
Crvena Zvezda Beograd or commonly known as Red Star Belgrade

One of the two Eastern European football clubs that won the premier European football club competition. In 1991, they won the European Cup/UEFA Champions League by beating the Bernard Tapie's Olympique Marseille 5-3 on Penalties shootout, but the most memorable match was their 3-4 aggregate win over German giant FC Bayern Munchen in the semifinals.
During this time, Red Star Belgrade contains some of the best Yugoslav players like Robert Prosinecki, and he went on to Real Madrid and Barcelona.

1986 European Champions
Steaua Bucharest.

Another Eastern Europe team that won the European Cup back in 1986, again by penalties, but their opponent was much more formidable, which is FC Barcelona, but in the end Steaua managed to beat FC Barcelona 2-0 on Penalties shootout, thanks to the Steaua goalkeeper, Helmut Duckadam, who saved all of Barcelona penalties attempts and dubbed as 'Hero of Seville"

1988 European Champions
PSV Eindhoven.

Another team that won the European Cup by Penalties Shootout, which PSV won theEuropean Cup in 1988 by defeated last edition winner FC Porto 6-5. During the quarter-final and semi-final, PSV won on away goals rule against Bordeaux and Real Madrid 1-1 respectively.

1970 European Champions

The first ever Dutch side that won European title, which the defeated Scottish outfit, Celtic 2-1 in 1970. and went on to become one of the best Dutch team.

1967 European Champions
Celtic Glasgow FC

The first ever British team and the only Scottish team to won the European Cup. Celtic won their first ever European title in 1967 by beating Internazionale 2-1. since then, Celtic rarely make impact in the European Cup/UEFA Champions League.

1979 and 1980 European Champions
Nottingham Forest FC

The only team that currently did not playing in their top flight domestic division, but during their golden age in 1979 and 1980. they won two consecutive European Cup.But currently, their status of not playing in the top flight football division ensures that their status of former European Champions somehow looks weird.

1982 European Champions
Aston Villa

Perhaps one of the greatest shock result in European Cup finals, which during the European Cup final 1982, heavy favorites FC Bayern Munchen are defeated by English side Aston Villa 0-1. A Peter Withe goal secure Aston Villa their only European titles. but as of now which Aston Villa sits at the mid-table of the English Premier League, everyone seems did not knowing that Aston Villa actually won an European Cup.

1983 European Champions
Hamburger SV

Since 1976, teams from England dominating the European Cup, which Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa wiining them all. But finally in 1983, A German team, Hamburger SV halted the English teams from winning any titles and went on to capture A European title. A Felix Magath strike against Juventus in European Cup final 1983 secures a 1-0 win for Hamburger SV.

1997 UEFA Champions League winner
Borussia Dortmund

Many people still believe that if Dortmund win the UEFA Champions League final 2013 against FC Bayern Munchen, that would be the first ever UEFA Champions League title for Dortmund. but in reality, Borussia Dortmund already won their UEFA Champions League title in 1997by beating Juventus 3-1. Many people never knew that Borussia Dortmund is the first ever German team that won the UEFA Champions League in its current format followed by Bayern Munchen that already won twice.

1993 UEFA Champions League winner
Olympique Marseille

One of the earliest team that controlled by an rich individual, This is the only French team that won the UEFA Champions League. At this time, Marseille was a star studded team and a financially healthy club. During the final, A single goal from Marseille's Basile Boli secured Marseille their only UEFA Champions League title against AC Milan back in 1993.
Weeks later, Marseille were accused of match fixing and barred from defending their UEFA Champions League title defense.

European Champions/UEFA Champions League winner in 1971,1972,1973 and 1995
AFC Ajax

Perhaps the club with the most title that never been reached as a 'popular' team like Barcelona and Manchester United. In fact that Ajax has produces some many talents like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wesley Sneijder, Edwin Van Der Sar, Dennis Bergkamp, the Boer Brothers, and many famous players.

European Champions/ UEFA Champions League winner 1987 and 2004
FC Porto

Although I seen many people supporting the Portuguese National football team, but it is a rarity to see a Portuguese football club fan, especially here in Malaysia, and they even think that there has been no Portuguese club that won the UEFA Champions League, but in reality, FC Porto just won its second UEFA Champions League title back in 2004, and the first time was back in 1987. Furthermore there are some people who think that FC Porto only won the  UEFA Champions League once.

European Champions in 1961 and 1962
SLB Benfica

Almost the same case with FC Porto, but due to the time factor and the Portuguese League popularity, almost everybody think that Benfica never won the European Cup.But they become famous by  becoming the second team after Real Madrid to won the European Cup in 1961 and 1962.

On the morning of 5th of March 2013, The Malaysian Armed Forces commenced a large scale military offensive against the Sulu Terrorist fortified position at Kampung Tanduo, which the ignorant and stubborness nature of the Sulu Terrorist giving Malaysia no other ways but to assault their fortified positions.

The Misunderstood Of The Inverted Cross

Everyone knows that the Latin Cross, or commonly known as the Holy Cross or Christian Cross is the well-known religious symbol of Christianity. But, behind that, there is also the famous symbol of the Inverted Cross, which is also related with the religion of Christianity. But famously the Inverted Cross has been widely used as an antichrist, or precisely anti Christianity symbol.

An Example Of Latin Cross Or Holy  Cross

What is the Inverted Cross Actually?

As for myself, when I was 10, which at that time I was still attending the Sunday School, I used to listen about the story of Simon Peter(Saint Peter the first Pope) which during his martyrdom, he was crucified upside down. The reason that Simon Peter crucified upside down because he requested himself to be crucified in that way because he felt that he was unworthy to be crucified in a same manner that Jesus Christ died on the Cross.

Metal Head Would Not Believe This.

And so this is where the original Inverted Cross coming from. Some Catholics view the inverted Cross as a symbol of humility and unworthiness in comparison to Jesus Christ, and symbolically as with my personal view, the Inverted Cross would be a symbol of showing humility and unworthiness before God.

Other than that, the Inverted Cross also called the Petrine Cross, and the traditional symbol for Petrine Orthodox Sebomenoi.

Why the Inverted Cross related and mistakenly viewed as the symbol of Satanism?

Personally(my own view) and generally, Christians does not view the Inverted Cross a symbol of anti-Christian and/or Satanism.

But an Inverted Crucifix(A Christian Cross that have an artistic depiction body of Christ upon it) would   represented as a Satanic symbol, which that would be total disrespectful too, and can be used as the symbol that represents Satanic Forces by the Satanists

An Example Of Crucifix

The other cause that lead to the Inverted Cross as a symbol of Satan is from the Bible itself, which Jesus said to Peter "Get behind me, Satan!" in Mark 8:33

Who The Hell That Misunderstood This Symbol?

As you and me know, Extreme Metal musicians used this symbol to show their rebellious nature against God and against organised religion.

This Guy Will Be Shamed To Death If He Ever Read This Blog Post.

But this symbol is not limited to the Extreme Metal musician, but to anti-religion. Atheist and other non religion movement as well.

Even Satanists Have Some Sort Of Humility And Unworthiness Before Christ.

And of course, Satanist or Satanic-related religion around the world used the Inverted Cross as the symbol against God or Christianity. More strangely this symbol also used as the symbol of Anti-Christ...

It's A Shame To Know That Even Anti Christ Misused The Inverted Cross For Its Main Mission

That Is An Saint Peter Cross...And The Brainy People Would Love To Fool Others About The Catholic Church.

But most of all, the funny things about the Inverted  Cross that the Anti Christ, and Satanists wearing an Inverted Cross, to show the world that they are showing their humility and unworthiness before Christ.

UEFA Europa League:Not For Gloryhunters?

When it comes to International football, most of our headbrain will directly fly to Europe. And countries like England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Spain will be the direct attention because of their national football team.

But when going into club-level football, most people here in Malaysia only know about England's Premier League, Spain's Primera Liga, and Italy's Serie A top teams, and never even know the remaining clubs in these 3 leagues. But there is a special case for German Bundesliga, which most people know about Bundesliga, but mysteriously hated it.

And when it comes to International European football club competitions, there are two main annual football competitions that held in Europe, and they are:

UEFA Champions League
-Mainly a place for gloryhunters supporters, and a few remaining are loyal club supporters

UEFA Europa League.
-A last bastion of true loyal club supporters, and 'updated' several times to become a more competitive international competition.

But strangely, here at Malaysia, when their current favorite football club that currently playing in the UEFA Europa League, they does not know about it. Even they did not know about the existence of the UEFA Europa League.

Yeah, I know that UEFA Europa League is the second most prestigious football club competitions at Europe, but I rarely see A Malaysian supporting their favorite European football when playing in the UEFA Europa League. But if I see any Malaysian for supporting for their favorite football clubs when playing in the UEFA Europa League. I can confidently said that he/she is the most trusted loyal supporters.

Before that, I would like to introduce about the UEFA Europa League.

Okay, What I got from Wikipedia, the UEFA Europa League is an annual football competition that organised by UEFA since 1971 for eligible clubs. Clubs qualified are based on their performance in each countries's national league and national cup competitions.

Before season 2009-2010, this competition was called UEFA Cup, but renamed UEFA Europa League, after a massive format change, but the UEFA Cup and UEFA Europa League is still the same competition, with the changes of name simply a rebranding.

When the competitions was still called UEFA Cup, A lots and lots of format changes occured and most notably during season 2004-2005, which a group stage was added as the first round proper of the competitions. And recently in season 2009-2010, the competition is not only have massive format changes, but also:

-New name for the competition, called UEFA Europa League
-New theme music for the competition
-New logo.

Just like what UEFA did in 1992 to the tournament that we all know as the UEFA Champions League.

Case 1
It all started in season 2009-2010, when Liverpool failed to qualify to the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League, but qualify for the second round of the UEFA Europa League.

A friend of mine(a lady), and was also a loyal supporter of Liverpool, suddenly stops updating her Facebook status update about any progress of Liverpool in the UEFA Europa League, after Liverpool failed to reach the last sixteen round of the UEFA Champions League. Instead she just keep on following the UEFA Champions League progress, without any team to support. And guess what? She is a fan of Liverpool, and she always hope that other remaining English Premier League(EPL) clubs eliminated, an usual EPL, La Liga and Serie A clubs fan mentality, which only supporting their teams competing in domestic front and UEFA Champions League, but did not care about their team when competing in UEFA Europa League.

Liverpool did reach the semi-final of the UEFA Europa Cup, but sadly this lady said that she was not impressed, even though Liverpool win the UEFA Europa League title, instead she said that upon the UEFA Champions League final, she will celebrate when neither team scores and win the UEFA Champions League.

My Say: A clear gloryhunter, which she have a passion on clubs which are not playing in the same league of her favorite club.

Case 2
After finished 7th in the 2009-2010 Premier League, Liverpool only managed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League, but as far as I know, all my friends in my Facebook, who are Liverpool fans, only updated their status about Liverpool in domestic front only. Since the beginning of the season 2010-2011, I haven't see any single Liverpool fans among my Facebook friends mentioning, updating any progress about Liverpool's participation in the UEFA Europa League.

My Say: Be grateful when your favorite team qualify for any International tournament. It is better than nothing.

Case 3
When Bayern Munich only finished 4th in the 2006-2007 Bundesliga, this means that Bayern only qualified for the 2007-2008 UEFA Cup (now called as The UEFA Europa League). But most people at that time, encourages me to find another elite clubs to support for their the Champions League campaign, instead of supporting Bayern Munich campaigns in the UEFA Cup.

My Say: Go (BEEP) yourself with your gloryhunting style, no matter what I am still supporting Bayern Munich.

Case 4
In La Liga season 2002-2003, anyone would be shocked to see FC Barcelona's position in the La Liga. You all will be shocked to death that to see Barcelona placed sixth in the  La Liga.

Compare the time when I posted this post and in the 2002-2003 season, it will be a different dimension for both Barcelona at both different times. Which today, there are lots of Barcelona fans you can find at your local neighborhood, but during 2002-2003 season, I rarely saw any Barca fans, and even at my school, nobody talks about Barcelona. But right now, almost everybody is a fan of Barcelona.

We go back to the 2003-2004 season. At that time Barcelona is competing at  UEFA Cup, and I told you, UEFA Cup is still difficult to win, even team like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and recently Liverpool FC has stumbled and failed to win the competition that many labeled as the minnows Tournament.
Yeah, it's a shame, isn't it?

My Say: Even big teams are stumbled down in UEFA Cup/ Europa League.

Case 5

Italians are the worse, They think that competing in the UEFA Cup/ Europa League will be a dishonor for them, because Italian clubs performance in the UEFA Cup/Europa League in the past 10 years in so damn awful. Even teams like  AC Milan and Juventus are knocked out before the quarter-final stage.

Not enough with the Italian mentality towards UEFA Cup/Europa League, they even fielded second strings squad in any UEFA Cup/Europa League, just like what they did  their domestic cup campaign.

In short, the Italian clubs for qualified for UEFA Cup/Europa League have the eternal mentality of "to play or not to play".

My Say: Another reasons to hate Italian football.

Well, as far as I know and with the study case that I have above, UEFA  Cup/ Europa League is always a testing ground for your loyalty to your favorite European clubs, and always become a place not suitable for gloryhunter.
